Chapter 1878 - 1882: I Shouldn’t Need Three Days
"Correct!" Luo Ke stood with his hands clasped behind his back, walking to the window, "This man is no ordinary man. Although I haven’t yet uncovered his background, from the information I currently have, he is very likely connected to the gangs over in Southeast Asia... So..." Luo Ke turned his face, looking at Leng Zirui, "I want you to personally go. Within three days, this man must die!"
Leng Zirui chuckled wickedly, "I enjoy this mission!"
This statement was not merely a joke.
If Luo Ke sent others to kill Leng Zimo, it might be a bit more challenging.
However, since Luo Ke wanted him to go, he was naturally very willing. This way, he could come into contact with Leng Zimo without raising suspicions from Ah Ke and Luo Ke. The two brothers could then discuss a foolproof plan to rescue Luo Xiaoqian.
"But now, where is this younger brother?!" Leng Zirui deliberately asked.
Who could be sure that Luo Ke truly trusted him without suspecting him?
He had to know just how much Luo Ke actually knew about him.
"He went abroad before Leng Zimo’s wedding, apparently to participate in a national-level military exchange training." Luo Ke leaned back against the chair, lifting his gaze to look at him, "ROY, this doesn’t seem like your style."
The previous ROY wouldn’t have so many questions.
If he needed any information, he would always find it himself.
"I was just wondering if he might be caught up in the emotional debts my flamboyant father left in China!" Leng Zirui explained with a mischievous grin.
Luo Ke glanced at him but didn’t pay much attention.
Back then, the first time Luo Ke saw Leng Zirui, he was also surprised.
After all, these two people were incredibly similar. Even he thought so. For ROY, who was suddenly seeing someone who looked just like him, asking a couple of additional questions was only natural.
Fearing further questioning would raise Luo Ke’s suspicions, Leng Zirui stood up and casually stuffed the photo in his hand into his pocket.
"I think I won’t need three days."
Luo Ke smiled with satisfaction, "I think so too."
This was his ROY, accepting the mission and swiftly completing it, never failing, never dragging his feet.
Leng Zirui turned towards the door, pulling it open, then paused to look back at Luo Ke behind the desk, "That Little Angel seems quite spirited. Why don’t I teach you some techniques to win over a woman? You should know, I’m very skilled in this area."
"No need." Luo Ke stood up, "I have ways to make her completely forget Leng Zimo and fall into my arms."
Knowing he shouldn’t ask any more, Leng Zirui called out to Ah Ke and the others waiting outside and turned to head downstairs.
He walked leisurely, moving slowly until he reached the car door outside the castle, where he stopped and pretended to search his pocket.
"Hey, where’s my phone?!"
"Your phone?!" Ah Ke looked at him perplexed, "Isn’t it in your pocket?!"
Leng Zirui shook his head, "Oh, right, it must have been left upstairs when I rescued that girl earlier. I’ll go get it."
"You wait here. I’ll go." the subordinate hurriedly said.
"NO!" Leng Zirui grabbed his arm, "I will go personally; you wait here for me."
After saying this, he hurriedly headed back inside.
"What’s wrong with the boss?" the subordinate asked puzzledly.
