Chapter 1582. Spiritual Cooking and Kali’s and Angel’s fight.
Chapter 1582. Spiritual Cooking and Kali’s and Angel’s fight.
Kali observed the other girls fighting and came to understand just how difficult it truly was. Fighting several copies of oneself, even when they are all at the Bronze Level, was not an easy matter.
Still, all of them advanced steadily.
Yasenia, after several days of bathing, finally absorbed all the medicinal essence in the water and slowly stood up.
As she slowly left the water, Yasenia’s gorgeous softness jiggled alluringly. The water slid down her perfect skin, and her black hair stuck to her body like gorgeous night threads. Her face, slightly flushed from the exertion, emitted raw seduction, while her long eyelashes had dewy drops on them, making her gaze look moist and enchanting.
Cecile, Andrea, and Evelyn got distracted by that sight, and the three of them got skewered by their copies, their faces crumpling. Andrea complained. "T-That was underhanded. Cough."
Andrea’s copy felt her lips twitch. "Sorry, I was also distracted and forgot to stop."
Andrea didn’t know whether to laugh or cry as they dissipated and her multicolored copy appeared. Andrea blinked, being the first time seeing this version of herself.
"Um... Hello."
The copy shook her head slightly and sighed. "Go back down."
Then, Andrea, Evelyn, and Cecile were utterly unable to see how their copies moved, and three palms landed onto the stomachs of the three girls.
It was here that they understood why Yasenia had shown such a face before.
The palm strike landed, and their bodies bent like fully drawn bows, impacting the ground and piercing through. Once they landed, they tried to take in deep breaths as they coughed blood violently, their bodies spasming in pain.
Evelyn complained, her face full of hurt. "H-Heavens, can she be a bit gentler? I can’t even appreciate Yasenia getting out of her bath with a body like this!"
For Evelyn to say those words, it showed just how absurdly strong the palm strikes were. Cecile was sprawled on the ground, her wounds healing rapidly as she glanced at the black, starless sky. "...Strong."
She tried to recall what happened, but the only two images in her head were the copy glancing at her coldly and the copy appearing in front of her, the palm placed onto her stomach. After that, it was white and impact, her body lodged onto the hard floor and unable to move due to the wounds.
Yasenia glanced over, and seeing her three dears sprawled out, her lips twitched. "Um... Sorry."
Kali tried to hold back her smile, her verdant green eyes dancing amusedly. "That’s quite... a sight."
Angel poked Kali’s soft side and whispered. "Kali, we will experience this later, so we shouldn’t laugh..."
Kali’s smile faltered, her face turning somewhat complicated. "Right...."
While the girls lingered on the image of themselves slamming them through the sky, Tatyana approached Yasenia. Speaking of throwing them down, their arena didn’t really change for spectators. Looking from the outside, it looked as if they pierced the floor and appeared in the sky, cratering onto the ground once more.
"Little Treasure, how was it?"
Yasenia, now clothed, stretched her curvaceous body, attracting gazes again. "It was great. I managed to refine my body quite a bit compared to other times."
The "quite a bit" was relative, though. Her strength barely increased by one percent after that bath. Still, even a mosquito leg is considered meat, and Yasenia accepted these small but cumulative boosts gladly.
She waved her hand, preparing a large table, and then placed a large feast in front of herself. Angel and Kali sat at her sides, curious. "Why are you going to eat?"
Yasenia chuckled. "You don’t expect my Supreme Ranked dishes to be just tasty, right? I have a diet I juggle around to eat after the refinement baths to help me consolidate the strength and also gain some extra strength. It’s quite a nice synergy, to be honest."
Reaching this point, Yasenia glanced at Angel and smiled. "I’ve already prepared your diets as well. I didn’t cook them because I wanted to see how strong each of you had become first. Now that I have a good idea, I’ll be able to prepare good dishes."
"What are the effects?"
Kali was curious. After all, Spiritual Cooking at Yasenia’s level was not too different from alchemy pills. If anything, the difference was that an alchemy pill usually had instantaneous effects, while Spiritual Cooking was a long-drawn, gentle, but long-lasting strengthening.
Yasenia chewed the meat and swallowed. "Plenty. The most important is Yin strengthening."
"Huh?"
Yasenia looked at Kali with a laugh. "What, after experiencing it, are you saying that you don’t need it?"
Kali recalled her intercourse with Yasenia, and her face turned deep red. She coughed and nodded. "Indeed. We need to strengthen our Yin Energy."
Angel looked at Kali with curiosity. "Is it... that stimulating?"
Kali glanced at Angel, and recalling how Yasenia had always quite thoroughly dealt with Angel, she shot her a slightly pitiful glance. "Good luck, Angel."
Angel couldn’t help but blink, and when she looked up at Yasenia, she noticed her eyes glancing at her as if she were a delicate snack. Angel’s face blushed deeply, her soft and large blue eyes misting over.
Tatyana leaned on the table, sitting in front of Yasenia, and looked at Angel and Kali. "You two should get going, right? Are you trying to slack off?"
Kali and Angel sighed, knowing that they had to start with their training as well. They had wanted to wait until Yasenia stopped eating at least. So, with grumbling stomachs, they stood up. ’Yasenia’s cooking smells too delicious.’
Kali moved to another arena the Realm Bead created and summoned Valeria. The three-meter-tall voluptuous dragon spirit woman appeared, her floral dress carrying the scent of flowers, and her verdant green eyes with golden slit pupils shimmering gently. "Do you want to fight with my assistance, Kali?"
Kali pondered and looked in front of herself. Opposite to her, Kali’s Copy manifested and glanced at Kali with her beautiful eyes. Kali smiled. "What do you think? Should I fight you with Valeria or without her?"
The copy shook her head. "For now, it is better to fight without much of her support. You should reach quite a higher level before Valeria actively participates."
"Oh? Why is that?"
Kali’s copy summoned Valeria’s Copy, and then she glanced at Valeria. "Defeat your copy, Valeria."
Valeria stepped forward, her movements incredibly fluid as she appeared before her own auraless copy. Before the copy could react, Valeria’s palm had landed on her chest.
BANG!
The copy’s chest burst open, her body thrown back for several thousand kilometers like a streaking meteor. Kali blanked out. "What’s going on?"
Kali’s Copy explained. "Valeria and Mirrory are old existences. Their proficiency in combat can naturally overwhelm Bronze, Silver, and even Gold copies as if playing with children. While their strength is not similar to their peak, the limit they can show is, of course, too strong for Bronze Copies and the like to imitate."
Kali hummed, understanding the logic behind it. "Even then, what if I get accustomed to fighting without her? Shouldn’t I be training to use all my strength?"
The Copy nodded. "Yes. But first, you need to at least gain a certain level of control over your own strength. After you are able to reach the Gold Copy, we will start including Valeria in our fights. Of course, Valeria will only act as support for both of us. Otherwise, you will rush forward too haphazardly."
Kali nodded and extended her hand. In the past, Kali had used swords and the like. However, during the time she was alone, Kali’s weapon changed as well.
What she was using now was fans. They were not small ones, each of them being around 50 centimeters long when closed. These two large flower fans were accompanied by some floating ribbons as well.
Yasenia, who was eating while talking with Tatyana, couldn’t help but look over with surprise. "Oh? Honey has changed her battle style?"
"It was long overdue." Tatyana smiled, not feeling surprised at all. "Kali’s way of fighting, if she is serious, involves plant armies, poisons, and parasites. Therefore, she has changed from a sword to something that would fit her better."
Yasenia was a bit confused. "Fans are better?"
"No." Tatyana squinted, seeing through Kali’s intent. "Kali has changed to hidden weapons. Fans are only supporting weapons."
Kali’s body burst with endless energy, her five fox tails waving behind her and pouring out endless streams of Life, Nature, and Wood energy. Around her, the phantom of endless forests manifested, and from within, an army of plant creatures appeared. These creatures, as they left the forest, transformed, evolved, and matured randomly.
Her copy did the same, holding equally gorgeous fans in her hands. What made Yasenia quite intrigued was that the armies of both sides were different. Clearly, there was an uncontrollable element within Kali’s domain that made it impossible to replicate exactly.
After all, what the Copy mimicked was not actions, but skills. The Copy glanced around, a touch of interest in her eyes. "Such a strong Evolution concept... You are really strong."
Both she and Kali swung their fans.
"Attack."
"Attack."
The armies on both sides rushed at each other like oceans of plant creatures. The clashes between the monsters were brutal, and as Kali and the copy waved their fans, buffs and poisons surged in waves.
Yasenia focused with interest, as Kali’s buffs and poisons did not come from alchemy concoctions. Otherwise, the copy would be unable to mimic it. While she was really curious about the name of Kali’s Intent Domain and skills, since Kali was fighting silently, there was no way of knowing.
Tatyana admired her quite a bit. "Powerful. If she uses parasites and the like, her strength is something really fearsome. Moreover, Valeria is not being included."
Yasenia asked. "Still... Won’t she be at a disadvantage when fighting her five copies? While individually, it is not exactly impossible to overwhelm five of oneself, armies are too numerous to overwhelm when strengths are similar."
Tatyana nodded. "Indeed. Still, that’s something Kali will need to solve herself."
Yasenia agreed. Then, she moved her gaze toward Angel.
Angel was standing opposite her copy, and when Yasenia saw Angel’s copy, she almost squealed in delight and rushed over. ’So cute!’
Angel’s Copy was about to speak when she noticed the intense gaze of someone. Curious, she glanced over and noticed Yasenia looked at her with enamored eyes. Her tan face gained a touch of rosiness as she blushed.
Angel glanced sideways, and a touch of jealousy bloomed in her heart. "No talk. Let’s fight."
The copy, startled, quickly jumped back and stomped the ground at the same time as Angel. A second later, from their foot, an incredibly complex formation manifested. The world around them was suddenly swallowed in light as her Glass, Light, and Blood elements combined to form a complex structure.
This structure manifested circular formations, and from them, beams of iridescent light rained crazily. The copy, being the auraless one, was quickly overwhelmed and died. Angel snorted lightly. "Hmph."
