Enel gave a thunderous shout, and his body jolted. Lightning erupted from him in a violent flare, dozens of electric arcs crackling and popping. The smoke vines binding him were instantly incinerated, leaving the surrounding area in scorched ruins.

The scattered smoke coalesced back into a human form. Smoker gritted his teeth, a trickle of blood escaping the corner of his mouth. "What insane power!"
"Then let me show you the true power of a God!" Enel snorted, and the lightning around him rioted once more.

From his colossal form, dozens of lightning bolts as thick as barrels snaked through the air, striking the ground and turning the battlefield into a wasteland of bottomless pits.
Blue-white arcs danced as the rampaging electricity condensed into a plasma-like energy. The armor on his head and abdomen began to regenerate, spreading until a full set of Tengu-style Great Armor encased his massive frame.

Sanji's hair stood on end from the static. He remained silent, exhaling a single, steady ring of cigarette smoke.
"Grandpa fought this guy in this form back then. Today, it's my turn!" Though shocked, Luffy didn't show a shred of fear.

Enel's muffled roar exploded outward, followed by a shockwave that kicked up a localized hurricane.

Luffy kicked off the air, a ring of vapor exploding beneath his feet as he rocketed upward, charging Enel head-on.
"A brat like you, King of the Pirates? You're dreaming. I'll send you to the afterlife first!"
The mocking voice rolled like thunder. The giant Raijin raised his Spear of Lightning and thrust it downward. It tore through the air with a piercing howl, looking like a literal bolt of divine judgment falling from the heavens.
BOOM—!
Luffy's fist collided with the tip of the spear. It looked like a mortal challenging a deity. The impact triggered a colossal roar; the air buckled, and arcs of electricity sprayed wildly as a terrifying shockwave rippled outward in successive waves.
For a few heartbeats, the spear seemed to stall in mid-air. But then, the momentum shifted. The spear continued its descent, slamming into the institute floor.
KABOOM—!
A circular shockwave erupted, churning with dust and debris. It swept across the area like a solid wall of air, pulverizing the reinforced metal flooring and literally shaving a layer off the earth.
RUMBLE... RUMBLE...
The ground buckled in violent tremors. Dozens of wide fissures spiderwebbed outward as the entire facility groaned, massive chunks of masonry raining down from the ceiling.
"Luffy!"
"Straw Hat-ya!"
"Straw Hat!"
Sanji, Law, and Smoker cried out in unison.
"Your turn!"
The giant Raijin wrenched the spear from the ground, leaving behind a scorched well six meters wide.
"ROOM!!!"
Law gritted his teeth, thrusting his hand out. The transparent dome expanded at high speed, enveloping the massive Thunder God.

Law vanished, swapping places with a large falling stone in mid-air. He raised Kikoku high above his head, aiming for Enel's chest, and swung with everything he had.
FLASH—!
The invisible blade tore through the armor on the Raijin's chest, leaving a long, narrow rent stretching from the right shoulder to the left waist.

Law's face was pale. His grip on Kikoku tightened until his knuckles turned white. The Op-Op Fruit was powerful, and its cutting ability was peerless, even giant-sized organisms were usually like lambs to the slaughter before him.
But that Tengu armor, crystallized electrical energy, had too much defensive density. His full-power strike had barely left a scratch that healed instantly. It was futile.

A rhythmic series of air-bursts echoed from the right. Sanji was using Sky Walk, closing in to strike at Enel's head.

The Raijin turned his head. Blinding light flared in his eyes, accompanied by a deafening crack of thunder. Two beams of pure lightning, like divine rays of light, erupted from his gaze.
Sanji didn't even have time to react. He was struck squarely and sent crashing into the ground, creating a deep crater.
"Enel!!!"
Smoker's lower half dissolved into smoke as he shot into the air.
"Yahahaha! No one can stop me! I am God..."
The Raijin gripped his spear with both hands, twisting his waist and drawing the tip back for a massive, horizontal sweep.
"God Slasher!!!"
The spear whipped forward, generating a gale-force wind.
KABOOM—!
A blue-white blade of lightning erupted from the swing, instantly cleaving through everything in its path. Even a massive iceberg several kilometers away was cut clean in half before the bolt turned into a streak of light and vanished over the horizon.

"A shooting star? Yawn... Honestly, that thunder is way too loud. I was having such a nice nap."
Aboard the head of a giant penguin, Kuzan pushed up his sleep mask and let out a long yawn. He watched the fading streak of light on the horizon with drowsy eyes.
Slowly, he looked up. Black clouds swirled overhead, laced with lightning. In the distance, an island came into view, just as the upper half of a severed iceberg began to slide into the sea.
"So I've arrived... Punk Hazard."
