46. Can I Try?
46. Can I Try?
Eva, who was still leaning on Andrew, laughed. "Ha! Katie's got you there, doesn't she?"But without saying anything else, Andrew caught Katrina's chin with his thumb and index finger and pulled her in for a kiss.
Katrina was stunned for a second by Andrew's sudden move, but then she closed her eyes and melted into the kiss, her hand reaching up to tangle in his hair as she returned it with equal fervour. She parted her mouth slightly and ran her tongue across his bottom lip, eliciting a soft moan of approval from Andrew.
Eva, still standing close to them, watched with wide-eyed amazement at the raw display of lust happening mere inches away from her face.
She felt a stirring deep within herself at the sight of Andrew and Katrina kissing with such abandon. But she also couldn't shake the feeling that she was being left out.
Yet, she had never kissed a man before.
She would be lying if she said that she didn't want to try, but she always avoided those situations. It just felt like she wasn't ready to do it yet, even if she flirted often.
But maybe it was the booze and the excitement in the air, or perhaps Andrew's earlier fight and confidence were contagious—something about tonight made her feel ready. Ready to break through the barriers she had placed around herself.
Andrew was lost in Katrina's taste and the soft warmth of her mouth. She was an amazing kisser, matching his passion with a skill and enthusiasm that took his breath away.
As for Katrina, she could barely contain the fire igniting in her chest. All her doubts and concerns vanished from her mind the second he took initiative. It wasn't every day she found a man that could sweep her away in one fell swoop.
She didn't need words or flowery gestures to fall under his charms; no, she was swept by the boldness, confidence, and decisiveness in his approach. And she loved that about him.
As Katrina was still lost in Andrew's lips, she heard someone clear their throat.
Pulling her attention away from Andrew's tongue, which was fighting hers for dominance, she glanced to the side.
There stood a red-faced and flustered Eva, who had interrupted their heated exchange.
Katrina let out a throaty chuckle, still feeling the tingles from their shared intimacy. "What is it, Eva?" Her words were laced with amusement, knowing that her friend had gotten worked up seeing their display.
"I, uhm..." Eva fidgeted with her glass, her eyes flicking nervously between the two. "Can I... uhh... try?"
Katrina raised her brow in surprise at Eva's sudden request, especially considering the fact that the young woman never showed interest in men like that.
The same surprise was reflected in Andrew's expression. But he wasn't going to deny the beautiful woman next to him. If this is what she wanted, then he'd make it a moment to remember.
"Are you sure about that, Eva? You might be getting carried away by the alcohol and atmosphere." Andrew asked.
The last thing he wanted was to do something that the beautiful photographer would regret later.
With a determined smile, Eva set her glass on the counter. "I'm very sure. I've been waiting for the right moment, and I think this is it."
"Alright then. Come here," Andrew beckoned, pulling the shy but willing photographer closer to him.
And without wasting a second, he wrapped one arm around her waist while the other reached behind her neck and brought her lips to his own.
At that moment, their lips met in a warm, passionate kiss that ignited the very air between them.
The sweet, almost electrifying feeling sent a tingling sensation across Eva's body as she savoured the kiss that Andrew was giving her.
He started by nipping at her bottom lip before his tongue gently stroked her mouth. Her senses were overwhelmed by the unfamiliar sensation of his lips and tongue.
Kissing Andrew was a lot different than when she had kissed Katrina in the past. Unlike the soft, feminine lips she was used to, his lips were firm and demanding, yet gentle enough to put her at ease. It was intoxicating.
When Andrew slipped his tongue into her mouth, Eva couldn't help but let out a small whimper. She tentatively met his tongue with her own, following his lead as they explored each other's mouths. Her heart was pounding in her chest, and she could feel a warmth spreading through her body that had nothing to do with the alcohol.
For Andrew, kissing Eva was a completely different experience from kissing Katrina. While Katrina was passionate and experienced, matching him kiss for kiss, Eva was hesitant and uncertain. There was an innocence to her that he found both endearing and arousing.
After breaking the kiss, Andrew held Eva close as she tried to catch her breath. Her cheeks were flushed, and her eyes were half-closed with pleasure. She looked up at him with a dazed expression, like she wanted more.
Katrina couldn't help but chuckle at her friend's expression. "So? How was it, Eva? Better than you expected?"
Eva nodded, unable to form words. She could still feel Andrew's lips on hers, and she wanted to feel them again. It was better than she had imagined. It was electrifying. It was addictive.
"Better than kissing me, perhaps?" Katrina pressed on with a teasing tone. "Tell me the truth, Eva."
Eva didn't answer right away. She first took a deep breath to calm herself, then her expression turned back to her usual playful one, and she giggled. "Maybe... You both have different styles, and both are amazing in their own way. But Andrew... He made me all hot and bothered with just one kiss."
"Is that so? And what do you plan to do about that?" Andrew smirked at her confession.
