Chapter 663: Art Is An.... Explosion
KRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
The sound was absolutely deafening, a deep, resonant howl that shook the entire Prime Expanse as the beam descended.
As it reached the colossal Wall of Death, something unexpected happened.
The ancient barrier — the eternal divider between Existence and Nonexistence — did not shatter or resist.
Instead, it was assimilated.
RUMBLEEEEE!!!!!
The Wall’s massive structure trembled, its surface cracking with golden light before it began to melt and flow upward into the beam like liquid glass.
The conceptual barrier that had stood since the dawn of creation.... it was absorbed entirely, its power and purpose folded into the golden-white torrent without a single piece left behind.
In a heartbeat, the divide between the two sides was gone, replaced by a wide, scarred stretch where the Wall had once stood, exposing the chaos of the battlefield beyond.
The beam kept falling without pause, slamming into the ground with world-ending force.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!
The explosion that followed was beyond comprehension.
A brilliant sphere of golden-white light burst outward, engulfing everything in its way.
In an instant, the ground crumbled, the air caught fire, and countless Divine Horrors along with anything tied to Nonexistence seemingly vanished in a single, all-consuming flash — their forms, their beings were erased from existence.
The shockwave ripped across the battlefield for thousands of light years, obliterating everything in its path and sending destructive energy surging through the Prime Expanse.
And then—everything stopped.
The explosion, the light, the shockwave, the tumbling debris — all hung motionless, frozen in time like a snapshot.
The battlefield turned into a still frame of utter ruin, in the instant before the blast’s full power could finish what it started.
Ash smiled faintly as he looked at the frozen tableau of destruction before him. With a casual wave of his hand, one of the projection orbs materialized in front of him, hovering above the still battlefield.
He let out a quiet chuckle; his tone tinged with amusement. It had been quite some time since he’d experienced a moment that brought back memories of the old Earth anime and novels he once loved.
Yet this—this was absolutely perfect.
"Art... is an explosion!" he declared, raising his hand to gesture toward the suspended beam of golden-white energy hanging high above the battlefield.
"BECOME!"
HUMMMMMMMM!!!!!
The moment the word left his lips, everything reversed, and the portrait he had painted... began to come to life.
The colossal beam of energy shot back upward, retracting into the swirling vortex above the battlefield.
However, in the midst of this.... the Wall of Death did not return — it remained gone, the divide between Existence and Nonexistence erased.
The Divine Horrors that had been destroyed reappeared, their numbers restored as if they had never been erased.
But as the beam returned to its origin point above the battlefield, it exploded once more.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!
However, this was not an explosion of destruction, but rather one of art. As the light faded, it revealed a completely transformed scene.
Every single member of the Ineffable Pantheon — no matter where they had been on the battlefield or deep within Pantheos — now found themselves seated on grand thrones floating high in the skies.
They gathered around Ash, who sat on the grandest throne at the very center.
Although events had unfolded abruptly for them, at their current level of power they couldn’t claim to be entirely surprised — especially since Ash had made no effort to conceal it.
So, they all lounged back on their own thrones, treating the moment as casually as if it were just another Monday.
They had all been pulled here abruptly, yet at their current level of power, none of them seemed particularly surprised — especially since Ash had made no effort to hide what he was doing.
Aurora, seated on a throne to the left, leaned forward with a curious tilt of her head.
"Um... Daddy." She spoke up looking at the Mother, "Who’s this new woman sitting in your lap?" she asked, her white and blue hair swaying as she looked with clear jealousy... as she’d always claimed his lap.
Quell, lounging on another throne with his arms crossed, shook his head with a dramatic sigh.
"Seriously, Father?" He questioned exasperately, "How am I supposed to keep up... if you keep making the competition tougher for me," he muttered, though there was a hint of amusement in his voice.
As the Endless Hegemon of Harems, it was only natural that he admired Ash, especially for his talent in bringing more women into his circle.
While it was never truly a competition, he couldn’t help but feel driven by the sheer number of mothers Ash had, which inspired him to strive for the same.
This ambition fueled his desire to make the Originat Clan grow even larger and more influential.
Vaeloria, on the far right, rolled her eyes as she adjusted her position on her throne.
"I was in the middle of something important," she said with a huff. "And you just rudely pulled me here to show off, huh?"
The Mother, meanwhile, was perched on Ash’s lap, her radiant form visibly tense.
A faint blush colored her pale cheeks as she felt his arm resting casually around her waist.
Her eyes were wide with a mix of shock and defiance as she looked around at the unfamiliar setting and the group of powerful beings surrounding her.
"What... what happened?" she demanded, her voice tinged with both regal authority and unmistakable confusion.
After leaving the Prime Expanse, she had intended to return to the Primordial Expanse to search for Minx.
But there she was, already lounging on a throne, watching her with a knowing smile.
"How am I here? This shouldn’t be possible," The Mother pressed again.
Nia, seated comfortably on the left armrest and leaning against Ash’s side, scoffed loudly.
"Oh, woman just be quiet," she said, her black eyes narrowing at the Mother. "You’re already getting special enough treatment sitting there. Don’t push it."
At those words... The Mother’s blush deepened slightly, but she held her tongue, clearly unsettled by the situation.
----
And.... just maybe the reversal beam was actually a blast of pure destruction, because below them, the entire Prime Expanse — both the realms of Existence and Nonexistence — had vanished.
The battlefield had expanded to encompass everything. Every single being that had existed in the Prime Expanse now stood on the scarred ground, looking up at Ash and the Pantheon with stunned expressions.
For a moment, there was absolute silence.
Then, the inhabitants noticed the glowing red X’s hovering above the heads of every member of the Ineffable Pantheon — clear targets marking them as enemies.
Their eyes shifted to the Mother, who appeared to be "trapped" in Ash’s lap, though her faint blush suggested otherwise.
The shock quickly turned to rage and confusion.
Loud murmurs erupted across the massive crowd.
"W-what is this?!"
"The Mother... with him?!"
"They’re the ones behind everything!"
HUMMMMMM!!!!!
The entire assembled force of the Prime Expanse — Existence and Nonexistence beings alike — roared with unified fury and charged upward toward the floating thrones, their weapons raised and powers surging.
