Sienna Johnson and Adrian Desmond came to the kindergarten to pick up Curly.

Adrian Desmond held Curly’s hand as they left the kindergarten. Curly had a little yellow hat on his head, crossed the pedestrian crossing, and walked towards their car.

"What announcement?"

"We’re going to have a sports event."

Sienna asked, "What event did you sign up for?"

"Marathon."

Sienna looked up at her daughter and asked, "Can you finish a marathon?"

"You should ask Dad."

Adrian Desmond said, "Why ask me? You’re the one running, not me."

"You’re supposed to hold me and run the marathon."

"Why?"

"That’s what the teacher said."

George explained on the side, "It’s a parent-child fun marathon. Parents and kids participate together."

Sienna asked, "George, what did you sign up for?"

"My parents are looking after my grandfather, so they can’t participate, so I didn’t sign up for anything."

"Is your grandfather still not well?" Sienna asked.

"He had surgery. The doctor said he needs good care because he’s old, and recovery is slow."

Sienna had no particular bond with the Hunter Family, but Adrian Desmond and Owen Hunter were on good terms. Sienna asked, "Should we go visit George’s grandfather?"

"I’ve gone to see him. He’s recovering well, as long as it doesn’t spread, everything will be fine."

Curly asked, "George, if your grandfather is well, are you going back to Abyanabad?"

"What are his parents thinking? Are they okay with him living with us?"
