Chapter 610: Arriving Together

"Little Witch, why are you in such a foul mood? Did your aunt come to visit today?" Lin Kuang asked, looking at the Little Witch with a sly grin.

"Screw you, you jerk! You’re getting more and more shameless!" the Little Witch shouted, her face bright red.

"Props to Shiyu. This guy really is getting more shameless by the day. His audacity knows no bounds, so it seems we’re no match for him," Lin Guo’er chimed in from the side.

"Looks like you two are asking for it, aren’t you?" Looking at Lin Guo’er and the Little Witch, Lin Kuang grumbled, his gaze turning playfully menacing.

Seeing this, the faces of Lin Guo’er and the Little Witch flushed red, knowing full well what Lin Kuang meant. Of course, they weren’t scared; they were more expectant than anything.

"Alright, let’s not fight anymore. Let’s go for a walk in the park. It’s Wan’er’s first time here, and then we’ll head home," Liu Shilin spoke up.

Hearing Liu Shilin’s words, the other women nodded in agreement, as Liu Shilin held a lot of sway among them.

"Alright, let’s follow Shilin’s plan. Let’s go," Lin Kuang said with a smile, and then the group charged into the park.

They chatted and laughed, occasionally taking selfies. After enjoying themselves for a while, the group left the park and drove home.

Once they were in the car, the women couldn’t help but feel a bit tired. Despite their energetic appearance earlier, the rush of excitement had passed, and they naturally felt exhausted.

Back at home, the women went to their rooms to rest, leaving the long-suffering Lin Kuang to haul in one shopping bag after another.

"Okay, I’ve brought everything in. Figure out who owns what," Lin Kuang said, slumping onto the sofa.

Lin Kuang mused with a slight smile before standing up from the sofa.

"You all carry on, I need to go take care of something," Lin Kuang said with a smile, looking at the busy Liu Shilin and the others.

"Hmm? What’s wrong?" Liu Shilin couldn’t help but ask.

"Some people have arrived outside. They seem to be looking for me, so I’ll go check it out," Lin Kuang said with a smile.

Upon hearing this, all the women turned their gaze toward the window, seeing the four people standing at the main gate.

"Be careful," they said, almost in unison.

Hearing them, Lin Kuang nodded with a smile. "Don’t worry, it’ll be fine."

With that, he gave the women a reassuring look and stepped out of the hall.

"What a coincidence. Klaus, Daniel. For the top two masters of the Assassin World to arrive together... this is truly an honor," Lin Kuang said with a laugh as he looked at the two men.

Klaus was universally acknowledged as number one in the Assassin World. He had undertaken thousands of missions without a single failure. Daniel’s record was similar, though he had started his career a bit later and undertaken fewer missions. Otherwise, the top spot might have been up for grabs. In any case, it was clear that Klaus and Daniel’s abilities were quite evenly matched.

"King of the Underworld, long time no see. Your strength has increased again," Daniel said with a smile, as if greeting an old friend.

"You two can stand down. I’ll have a chat with these gentlemen," Lin Kuang said with a smile, glancing at the two men dressed in black.

He naturally knew who they were. They were the secret forces of the Wumi Building. After all, Liu Shilin was the daughter of the Wumi Building’s Tower Master, so of course she would be protected.

"Yes, Mr. Lin," the two from the Wumi Building said before turning and vanishing into the night.

"Are you two here to kill me as well? It seems you’re quite fixated on this ’King of the Underworld’ title," Lin Kuang said with a laugh, looking at Klaus and Daniel.

"That’s right. The name ’King of the Underworld’ is quite famous in Europe," Klaus said, his tone incredibly calm. "Besides, since so many have tried to kill you and failed, we naturally became interested."

Hearing this, Lin Kuang nodded but asked curiously, "How did you two team up? Did you come here together just for me?"

"Not exactly. We both wanted to come and just happened to meet on the way, so we came together," Daniel explained.

As the top two assassins on the Killer List, both Klaus and Daniel had too much pride to officially team up.

"I see. I thought you two had come as a pair. That would have been too great an honor," Lin Kuang said with a chuckle.

"King of the Underworld, let’s find a different spot. This doesn’t seem like the right place for a fight," Klaus suggested.

Hearing this, Lin Kuang nodded. "Good idea. There’s a small plaza not far from here that should be empty at this time. How about we go there?"

"Of course, no problem," Daniel said with a laugh, his words laced with absolute confidence.

Klaus also nodded with a smile, agreeing with Lin Kuang.

"Very well. Let’s go, then. I’ll lead the way," Lin Kuang said with a laugh. He turned and set off, with Klaus and Daniel quickly following.

A little over ten minutes later, the three arrived at the small plaza and positioned themselves in a triangle in the middle of the open space.

"King of the Underworld, I’ll take the first round," Klaus said with a smile, looking at Lin Kuang.

Hearing this, Lin Kuang couldn’t help but shake his head. "No, no. I admit you’re strong, but you alone are no match for me. You should both attack at once."

At Lin Kuang’s words, both Klaus’s and Daniel’s expressions shifted, a hint of anger flashing in their eyes.

"King of the Underworld, are you looking down on us?" Daniel stepped forward, his eyes radiating killing intent. At the same time, a tempestuous power surged from his body, displaying his might before Lin Kuang.

"Not at all. How could I possibly underestimate you? I’m simply stating a fact. If you come at me one by one, you truly aren’t my match."

As he spoke, Lin Kuang took a step forward. The Open Door, Rest Gate, Life Gate, Injury Gate, The Du Gate, and Scenic Gate within him all flew open, and a terrifying power instantly surged forth.

In that instant, the expressions on the faces of Klaus and Daniel changed drastically.
