Chapter 382 - 381: Don’t Regret This
Bella gritted her teeth, "This is what you asked for, don’t regret it."
Damian raised his eyebrows, and before he could say anything, she had already leaned in close to his ear and shouted loudly, "Hubby! Hubby! Hubby! Hahaha!"
With her prank successful, she burst into laughter at the end.
Damian wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her into his embrace and gave a playful squeeze to her waist.
"Ah!" Bella squirmed from the tickling, "Damian, no more, hahaha, no more! I was wrong! I was wrong!"
"Do you really know you were wrong?" Damian asked while squeezing her waist.
"I really know I was wrong." Bella, extremely ticklish, pleaded, "Damian, stop tickling me, I’m begging you."
"I’ll let you off this time," Damian finally released her.
Bella sat back up and pouted at him, "You’re such a miser."
"Hmm?" Damian raised an eyebrow.
"Ah, don’t come again!" Bella quickly opened the car door and jumped out, almost twisting her ankle from the haste.
"Be careful," Damian said helplessly, this little woman was always so carefree; he just couldn’t stop worrying.
"Alright." Bella stood firm, bent over to wave at him, "You go to work, I’ll wait for Bella here."
"You don’t know when she’ll be out, it’s cold today, go wait for her in the café over there," Damian suggested.
"Okay, I know. Bye-bye." Bella waved at him and turned to hop and ran towards the café.
There was no sun today, the weather was overcast and the chilly wind was blowing. It’s uncertain if it would rain later, maybe even snow.
Bella looked up at the sky and, without paying attention to the path ahead, bumped into someone.
Bella quickly stepped back two spaces to apologize, "Sorry, I didn’t mean to."
She apologized first, then noticed the person. Upon observing clearly, her expression immediately turned sullen.
Vivian Norris was wearing large sunglasses and a hat, with a mask on her face. If it weren’t for recognizing the assistant accompanying her, Bella wouldn’t have recognized her at once.
What bad luck, running into her. Her good mood was slightly ruined.
Vivian hadn’t expected to bump into Bella here either. She took off her sunglasses, no longer pretending to be modest or friendly, looked coldly at Bella, "Are you feeling smug now?"
Bella remained silent, simply watching her.
Vivian sneered, "Bella, I truly didn’t expect you to be so skilled at cozying up to men. The way President Lloyd got charmed by you is one thing, but even Archer Quinn, who’s got his nose in the air, shields you like a treasure, you really are something special!"
"This has nothing to do with Senior Quinn, don’t drag him into our issues," Bella had no interest in falsely being polite anymore, "I just don’t understand why you keep targeting me, a newcomer who poses no threat to your interests? The first time was getting me drunk at a gathering; had you already conspired with President Lloyd by then? That was our first meeting, I can’t figure out what I did to offend you, making you so displeased with me."
"Haha, you haven’t figured out the reason by now?" Vivian leaned back with a cold laugh, "Let me tell you, it’s because you shouldn’t have gotten into President Sinclair’s car! He’s the man I, Vivian Norris, had set my sights on, and who are you to be sitting alone in his car?"
