Chapter 470 - 469: I Will Never Be at Ease If Anything Happens to You
Bella Acker stared blankly at the nurse speaking, "Huh?"
The smile on the nurse’s face grew bigger, "I’m your fan."
"Me... my fan? I haven’t even had any works broadcast yet." Bella Acker had just been through a car accident and had been anxiously waiting since. Her mind really couldn’t process things at the moment.
"That’s okay, we’re all waiting for your ’Brocade River and Mountain’." The nurse said, "Alright, I need to get busy now. Remember to call me if you need anything."
"Thank you." Bella Acker nodded in gratitude.
The nurse immediately pulled out her phone after stepping outside, tapping the screen frantically, "Major news, I just saw Bella. In person, alive! Bella looks even younger than in photos! Ahhh, so cute!"
"Damn, share the address, we need to see Bella!"
"Address, address, address!"
The nurse continued typing, "And guess who Bella is with? It’s Joan! I always said Joan looks at our Bella with so much affection. There’s no mistake!"
"Damn it, stop babbling and tell us the address, I’ll fly over immediately!"
"+ ID number!"
"Hehe, I can’t tell you that. Anyway, I need to work now, talk later. Mwah, love you all!"
"Love your sister! We don’t want your love, just the address! Come back!"
After stirring up a frenzy in the group chat, the nurse quickly withdrew and looked through the glass on the door into the hospital room before smiling to herself and returning to work.
Archer Quinn remained unconscious, with Bella Acker sitting on the stool by the bed, whispering, "Senior Quinn, if anything happens to you, I will never be at peace for the rest of my life. You have to pull through."
As she was speaking, the door to the hospital room opened, and the nurse who had left earlier returned.
"Bella, this is Joan’s clothing, wallet, and phone." The nurse said, noticing Bella Acker’s red eyes, she couldn’t help but comfort her, "Joan’s condition isn’t very serious, Bella, don’t worry too much."
"Really?" Bella Acker inquired.
The nurse hesitated, "Technically, we’re not supposed to say anything before a rescued patient wakes up, but compared to others involved in the car accident, Joan’s condition is indeed not too severe; it’s just that he has a bleeding wound on his head that looks quite frightening."
"If that’s really the case, I feel a bit relieved." Bella Acker relaxed a little, "Thank you so much."
"No need to thank me." The nurse waved her hand, "Bella, you haven’t had dinner yet, right? The anesthesia hasn’t worn off still, so Joan won’t wake up anytime soon. You should go eat something first."
"I’ll go in a moment, thank you." Bella Acker thanked again, the nurse said a couple more words, and then left the hospital room.
Bella Acker was stained with quite a bit of blood, and with nobody else in the hospital room she couldn’t go to clean herself up, let alone go out for dinner.
She glanced at Archer Quinn’s clothes, wallet, and phone, then picked up his phone and pressed it to unlock the screen, which indeed required fingerprint unlock first.
Bella Acker held the phone near Archer Quinn’s hand, took his thumb and pressed it on the round button for fingerprint recognition unlock.
Once the phone was unlocked, Bella Acker quickly found Archer Quinn’s assistant’s number and dialed it.
The phone rang four times before being answered, "Hello, Brother Quinn."
"Um, I’m Bella Acker." Bella Acker said, "We had a car accident, Senior Quinn is currently lying in the hospital, could I trouble you to come over?"
